Enrolments
Enrolling at Hackham East Kindergarten:
You can register your interest to enrol your child by completing the
Preschool Registration of Interest form (also available directly from us).
Children begin kindergarten with us in Term 1 (start of the year) or Term 3 (mid-year intake).
Priority is given to children living within our catchment area. Families outside the catchment are asked to list at least two additional preschool preferences on their form.
Letters of offer are sent as follows:
- For a Term 1 start, families will receive their letter of offer in Term 3 of the previous year.
- For a Term 3 (mid-year) start, families will receive their letter of offer in Term 1 of that same year.

Once you receive the Letter of Offer, to accept a place, simply complete and return the acceptance slip by the due date.
Transition visits occur the term before your child starts. This is an opportunity for your child to meet the staff and other children. Details will be provided during the enrolment process.
Immunisations
When you enrol your child you will be asked to provide evidence of their immunisation status.
Fees
Parent contribution fees are determined by the Kindergarten Governing Council and are reviewed annually.
Families will receive an invoice via email at the beginning of each term. Payments are made via online banking, and a receipt will be issued through the Department for Education’s central finance system.
Fees for 2026 are $100 per term
